I recently had the pleasure of staying at a 4-star hotel surrounded by a gorgeous park filled with historic buildings from long ago. This place truly captured the charm of the past while providing enhanced comfort and quality services. The location alone was worth the visit, immersing me in a dreamlike atmosphere that felt like a time-travel experience. The room itself was beautifully furnished, with luxurious and comfortable beds that ensured a restful night's sleep. Additionally, the bathroom was stunning and equipped with all the amenities one could need.
This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

breakfast was very good. service was super fast and immediately cleared everything away. unfortunately there is always the baked dark organic bread, then becomes hard very quickly and is inedible in the evening. there are alternatives: baguette and other kinds of bread. juicer would be too much to ask for, it would be nice if champagne would be included in the drinks - at least on sundays. dinner has improved a lot and we enjoyed it very much. unfortunately, sauna has infusions more often. you have to do yourself, because there is no staff for infusions, if someone from the staff makes the infusion it is a highlight, because it is always done very well and it is really relaxing. we like to come here again and again - a place for relaxation and you look years younger and younger because you come back so relaxed.
ideally couples should not sit in the middle of and between the family area for dinner. brine bath is not a brine bath. as you can float normally in a brine bath, an outdoor sauna would be nice. there is enough space ;)

The old spa hotel forms the center of the royal Bayr. State spa, so the location is great. The SPA area is great, especially the possibility of arranging a private sauna for two with a whirlpool and everything that goes with it. The breakfast buffet is extensive and also offers regional organic products, to some extent also vegans. The warm evening buffet is fine. The hotel bar is great.
We had a comfort suite in good regards and with a great view. The equipment was fine; however, the living room seemed a bit empty, which was also due to the fact that the rooms were practically not decorated. There was equipment and furniture, but there were no accents such as flowers, paintings / decorative pictures, etc. Objects. In both rooms the same enlarged photograph was framed on the wall, although the position was not really chosen. . The outdoor pool is simply too cold for the winter months. If you have not booked half board and do not want to have dinner at the buffet, you will find nice starters on the menu, but the main dishes are mainly burgers, club sandwiches, etc. So we had to decide on one of the two main dishes at the buffet. These were nicely prepared, but the side dishes that we were allowed to choose were a bit lacking in flavor, as they were from the standard buffet and not tailored to a single dish. However, there are two other restaurants in the spa gardens that can be reached on foot in a few minutes.

Lovely pool facilities and beautiful surroundings in the Park. Excellent food in restaurant.
Nowhere to get a drink/snack/just chill out - bar only open from 2100 hours! Very little written information in English. AC not good.

Unable to buy a Mojito (or any other aperitif) before dinner. Food rather tasteless.

Great facilities, beautiful surroundings, and a central location in the city. The spa offered fantastic treatments and a range of activities to choose from, making it a perfect destination for a city break. The breakfast selection was diverse, with hot and cold food options for different tastes. the staff were welcoming and friendly from arrival to departure.
The armchair in the room was dirty and dusty, which made us feel uncomfortable during our stay. , it was challenging to communicate with staff members who didn't speak English, making it challenging to get assistance when we needed it.

It is really calm, pleasant relaxing unique place. It is absolutely the best wellness resort from all I had chance to visit. Nice place otside and Furstengerg garden is imply perfect.
Actually no objection. Only thing is that public bad mineral water machine is not working with visitors card and you have to go inside and fill your bottles quite difficultly.

Breakfast was wonderful. Extra bed for kid was free. Super clean and the grounds are fantastic. Spa was also fantastic, but be warned, bathing suits are forbidden, which was a culture shock for us.
There was a wedding reception that went until 4 in the morning!!!! They had live music and although it wasn't housed in the hotel, it was soooo loud, we couldn't sleep. The hotel said they could do nothing about it.

The location in a beautifully maintained historic area with lovely flowers. The Spa outdoor area and pool.
Expensive. Very slow service at dinner as there were business guests in next room and insufficient waiting staff. The fixed seating in the bar was threadbare in places. The breakfast hot buffet was not fresh with dry bacon, etc., but the locals wouldn't want it and there were lots of great cold dishes to choose from.

The location of the hotel is great, providing easy access to various options for dinner, including a restaurant next door and a handful of others in the nearby town. if you're interested in genealogy, there's a rural area nearby worth exploring. the rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Service is excellent, and the breakfast buffet is delicious and extensive.
The pool size is somewhat small, limiting options for swimming.

I loved my stay at this hotel located in a beautiful historical complex with lush green spaces and old-styled buildings. The hotel facilities were exquisite and included a spa, pool, fitness room and an onsite Italian restaurant up the hill. The location was perfect for me as it offered easy transportation to roam as nature intended and explore this city. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms, the quality of the breakfast selections and the friendly staff always ready to assist. In addition, the fact that parking was included in the room rate was a plus.
Can't fault anything about it.
